Look Who's Joined Our Desire2Learn Community
We've added some new faces to the Community recently. Here's a few introductions:
Christian MadaraszVancouver Island University
"I am a new instructor (part-time) at a small university. I work in the Applied Business Technology department teaching courses such as Manual Accounting, English, Business Communications, etc. There are several opportunities each year to teach these courses "on-line", but I've been told that I need to have Desire2Learn experience. Unfortunately for me, the University does not frequently offer any instructor courses, and the current instructors are too busy to help me learn the ins-and-outs of the program. So here I am. Hopefully, this is the right place (or at least a step in the right direction)."
Sarah VeltkampMontana State University
"I work at Montana State University in Bozeman. Three of us instructional technology specialists support the faculty/students across the university. I just joined the team (was previously the in-college support for all-things-internet for our college of nursing.)"
Jesse YuenCurriculum Council Western Australia
"We are new on the D2L scene - and I believe we are the only organization using D2L on the west coast of Australia. We will be using D2L to deliver Professional development to teachers statewide."
Linda Crawford
Trident Technical College
"I have had some experience with WebCT but find D2L is more user friendly. I am excited that Trident Tech selected D2L. I believe it is an innovative learning platform and will definitely benefit not only the faculty members but the students as well."
